POETRY and LANGUAGE LESSON SCRIPT

Subject : Influence of travels on Adam Mickiewicz’s life and literary activity

Necessary materials : interactive board, speakers, work cards illustrations, markers of different colours, posters, map of Poland of 19th century.

MULTI-MEDIA PRESENTATION

Some interesting facts of his literary creativity, travels, social and political activity.

WORK with a source text and a map in groups.

Divide students into5 groups. (Every group must consists of 5-6 students from different countries)

Every group will have to find 5 most important facts from the given period (work card 1 and 2)and write them down on the poster. Pay attention to the places of travelling and point them on the map. You can use the posters with some illustrations connected with your period.

III. PRESENTATION of the teamwork

Team leader is going to present team’s work to the others.

IV.EXIBITIONS of Adam Mickiewicz’s works the photos of the book covers.

V. RECITING of ''Lithuania, my country...”
